2 sets of email credentials per mailbox + 2FA webmail

Standard email credentials as already implemented for pop / imap / smtp / webmail. If you want more security, use this only for pop / imap / smtp and not for webmail.
Optional second set of email credentials for the same mailbox for webmail only (can't be used for pop / imap / smtp). Intended to be used in combination with 2FA.
That way we have secure access to webmail without the problem that 2FA can be bypassed using pop / imap / smtp if login credentials were intercepted.
Perhaps a little complex for the average user, but optionally a lot of extra security for webmail users.
