The possibility to enable a CAA record is currently disabled by default in DirectAdmin, to advance the adoption of this feature and many other modern internet standards we would like to have enable the option to enable a CAA record by default.
There should not be a valid value for this record, but merely the option to create a CAA records would enable end users to enable it themselves.
