Some of our clients depend on server-side filtering rules because software, like iOS's Mail app, are missing rules-based filtering. Having.a well integrated ability to set server-side filtering rules in DirectAdmin would be ideal.
Trying to train customers coming from other panels (and myself) with Sieve I cross into a bug (or feature?). Only one Sieve filter set can be active. Making even harder to configure filters with Sieve. Pro Pack or not, Global Filtering and Per-User-Filtering from inside DA is needed I think.
This is basically the same with feedback.directadmin.com/b/feature-requests/create-email-filters-from-directadmin/ and indeed is needed. We got users that use this functionality heavily and we can't offer them DA or migrate them to DA easily. Restore from cpanel also ignore filters and break things when users have global or per mailbox filters and that messes up things on migrations.
DA shouldn't follow cPanel, but yes, improvement in filtering and rules is needed, but for me it's not a high priority. And would love to see the community stop comparing DA with cPanel... I hope DA won't be like cPanel (bloated software and stupid support) anytime soon.
Da shouldn't follow cPanel but we had various issues when moving accounts from CP to DA because of this. Many users had exim filters and they vanished in the thin air. If exim filtering isn't an option, at least a script to convert them to Sieve would be nice.
Yes please. Had somewhere in forums similar thread. Exim level forwarders.. Also should be transferred from cPanel/Plesk or give warning at least that forwarders and filters exists. cPanel filters/forwarders was missing after transferring them.

Hoping this post gets more attention, this question appears quite frequently from end-users.

Ability to create email filters or email rules. cPanel has email filtering as standard on their control panel.
