The Default for User account hashes are still MD5. Unless you set crypt_method=6 in directadmin.conf. Is there a reason we should still be using this older method? Is there some reason not to set the default to SHA-512?

I noticed the admin account and root is SHA-512 but not my users. Looking at the /etc/shadow file is see $1 not $6
