DocumentRoot modification for the maindomain

Modern frameworks and CMS like contao require that the DocumentRoot is set to /public. In DA this is only possible for subdomains (for the end user).
We really need the possibility that the end customer can change the domain path independently and not have to open a ticket every time and wait until the support does it.
