Fil manager editor improper jump away when i click into it

In new file manager (unnamed, get the idea from the screenshot: i.postimg.cc/dq9rdJc0/da-copy-move.gif ) I doubleclick .php file i do Ctrl+F and type something. It bring me to the relevant line, i click that line, BUT it jump away to line 1 (or some other place in file). That should not happen, is confusing. Later (maybe due to switching code highlighting to php?, saving file) it miraculously started working and not jumping away.

in the editting mode, sometimes the code spans to the line numbers area and clicking somewhere point to typing cursor to different place nearby. When i hide line numbers, then it start working well.
