File manager: editor should not close on save + improper search filtering

In new file manager (unnamed, get the idea from the screenshot: i.postimg.cc/dq9rdJc0/da-copy-move.gif ) Save button should not cause window to close, because i usually want to preview changes onsite and then do more modifications, but i have to again click into the search field, type another character of the filename (because the search is for unknown reasons reseted - showing all files despite search phrase is entered) and Enter key on previously used search phrase does not cause search function to filter out relevant files.
Maybe add another button that reads Save&Close or the Save button turns to Close button once changes are saved and after modification it turns back to Save button.

btw this file manager seems like an improvement, but seems like in beta stage
