Bind is fine keep it. You should offer native PowerDNS support as well. Its ability to cluster with DB is great.

We currently use it with AXFR, but you can also talk to a cluster's API with pre/post scripts. Local bind is sufficient i think, if you want to cluster i would only let the DA server be the hidden master but not part of the cluster of nameservers.

Hey Imtek
I do this too already. The feature set of PowerDNS and the memory foot print is a win. Like normal I am just looking for an option like Apache or Ngnix.
