Show hostname instead of ip in welcome message by default

Since DA 1.63.2 (or something) the line ssl_redirect_host became deprecated.
However, all welcome messages for accounts point to ip.ad.dr.ess:2222 so this automatic redirect was usefull.
We now all could change the welcome mail templates. But why not in this case change the welcome e-mail by default?
I presume there is an option to by default put something like |hostname| instead of |ip| in the welcome template?
The feature request is to do so. Which would create less confusion amongst new customers.
