Report: I have to switch to zerossl as of too much clients reported an error with R3 not trusted (from letsencrypt). So for today we switched to zerossl.
I would like to see BOTH Let's Encrypt AND ZeroSSL as choices in the DirectAdmin interface. This is especially useful in the case of wildcard certificates which are free in Let's Encrypt and must be purchased in ZeroSSL.
Using ACME you get free wildcard and multi-domain on both LE and ZeroSSL... only need to buy if you don't want to use ACME to issue certs. Their website could be misleading if you only read the informations on the pricing page. Check zerossl.com/documentation/acme/
I know, but search engines didn't helped too much in finding that before opening this feature request... then when I found it, didn't found a way to remove it... And maybe it's a good idea to have a switch for it in the GUI...

Zerossl should be an option when generating a cert via GUI.

Well, just got back to LE yesterday because ZeroSSL have some issues... forum.directadmin.com/threads/any-easy-way-to-use-zerossl-instead-of-lets-encrypt.63968/post-339584
I think your problem is related with not updated OS not with LE... I have that problem with macOS Catalina which doesn't work, and no problem on Monterey, with same certificate...
